Freshman Cedara Franklin was Pocomoke’s top female finisher at the 1A East Regional Cross Country Meet. Franklin’s efforts allowed her to advance to the state championship week at Hereford High School on November 14, 2015.
CAMBRIDGE, Md. — The Pocomoke High School Boys’ Cross Country team edged its way into the MPSSAA State Cross Country Championships next week at Hereford High School. Led by top male finisher Myron Mason (18:28), the boys’ squad finished fourth in the region securing a team spot in the 1A Championships. The boys team is comprised of Mason, Tyler Nixon, Samuel Reyes, Kristof Bothazi, Brady Hooks, and Nick Palmer. On the girls’ squad, freshman Cedara Franklin (23:49) was the lone Warrior advancing to the state meet.
